JAVIER JACINTO Short biography
Javier Jacinto, is born in Pasajes (Guipuzcoa, Spain) the year 1968, is High Graduate in Composition and Orchestral Conducting for the Royal High Conservatoire of Music of Madrid. Rewarded in contests of Composition as "Flora Prieto", "Foundation Guerrero, "Young SGAE Composers ", "Musical Contemporary Creation Basque Govern ", "Virgin of the Almudena-Union Fenosa", "Pablo Sorozabal" and "Joaquín Turina". His works have been interpreted in Europa's diverse festivals, Asia and America and directed by prestigious conductors as Victor Pablo, Juanjo Mena, J:R. Encinar and G. Pehlivanian. His compositions have been interpreted by important orchestras as that of Radio Spanish Television, the Symphonic Orchestra of Basque Country, the Symphonic Orchestra of Galicia or the Symphonic Orchestra of Sevilla. Between his last premieres it is necessary to emphasize his opera "Caronte" with libretto of E Santiago, scenery of the painter Angel Haro and wardrobe of Paco Rabanne, the Symphony nº1 "Brief" under the conduction of G. Pehlivanian and his work for piano " Am Graben Alfred Schnittkes ", interpreted by the Italian pianist Brenno Ambrosini in Gdansk (Poland) and Hamburg (Germany).
Since conductor made début internationally in Berlin conducting the “Deutsches Kamer Orchestra". He founds and conducts for 4 years the "Young Orchestra of the Schools of Music of the Basque Country" and the "Orchestra of the High Conservatoire of Music of Badajoz" being invited to conduct the Symphonic Orchestra of Estremadura.
Likewise he has conducted in diverse occasions the group of Chamber "Sax Ensemble", with special dedication to the contemporary and Spanish music.
Nowadays he reconciles his artistic activity with the pedagogic one as Civil servant of Career (speciality Orchestral Conducting) of the Community of Madrid in the Professional Conservatoire of Majadahonda's Music, conducting his Symphonic Orchestra from 2006.
